Meet the Staff

Martin Strasser, Owner
Premier's General Manager, Martin Strasser, serves on the executive board of the B.C. Pawnbrokers Association. As a recognized pawnshop spokesman, Mr. Strasser has been interviewed by local newspaper, television and radio stations many times on issues related to pawnbroking and secondhand business. Mr. Strasser has been heavily involved with City and RCMP officials in strengthening and refining Kelowna's Secondhand/Pawn legislation.

Martin has been involved in the pawn industry since 1995. His education includes Diamond grading and Accredited Jewellery Professional courses from the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.).

Recently Martin has undertaken the first steps in learning silver smithing so he expects many burnt fingertips in his future.

Tyler
Starting with us in 2002, Tyler is the longest serving (suffering?) member of our team. Whether it's setting up guitars, keeping up on the newest gaming consoles or evaluating diamond rings Tyler continues to increase his knowledge and skills. In 2005 Tyler obtained his Graduate Sales Association certification from the American Gem Society. Being the father of 3 beautiful little girls ensures he stays young at heart, if a little sleep deprived.

Eryn
Eryn joined us in 2003. She brought her previous retail and administration skills to our operation and has assisted us in streamlining many aspects of our business procedures. Given her organizational prowess she oversees our online listings and website database. She completed her Graduate Sales Associate course from the American Gem Society in 2006.

Mary Ann
Mary Ann has been with us since 2009 and brings with her years of varied retail and health service industry experience. She is enjoying her new career as a pawnbroker including the challenges of learning product appraisal and valuations. Mary Ann maintains our DVD & Bluray sections and is the one to ask for if you need that certain movie.
