Premier staff filling up supplies for the Kelowna Women’s Shelter
In December (2014) after work we took some time to make a difference. Every year we support a charity and this year we chose the Kelowna Women’s Shelter. We contacted them and got a list of things they needed and outfitted them with over $1000 in food, toiletries and baby supplies. It is sad that in today’s modern age there are still women who fear for their (and their children’s) safety. Hopefully things are looking a little better now.

February began with another worthy goal: the SUN-FM Have a Heart Radiothon. It’s a charity drive in support of the children’s ward at Kelowna General Hospital. We donated a Canadian diamond engagement set appraised at $4,500 to the fundraising auction. Great diamonds at a great price for a great cause!
