Everyone knows that large diamonds are rare but some are rarer than most. Of the gem quality diamonds produced in a year 52% are I clarity, also of those produced only 5,000 over 1/2 carat are colourless. This 1 carat diamond (double the size) has an SI2 clarity (top 48%) and a D colour with a VERY GOOD cut plus it is Canadian making it even more rare. Put that into hard numbers and only 1 in 2.6 million people in the WORLD will get a diamond this nice!
