1998 Calgary Olympics Coin Set

Have a chance to own some awesome silver AND a piece of some great Canadian History! The Royal Canadian Mint released these coins to commemorate the Olympic Games in Calgary. They were made from 1985 up until 1988. They were the first Canadian Silver coins to feature edge lettering which read “XV OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES – JEUX OLYMPIQUES D’HIVER”. The set includes 10 coins which depict some of the winter sports involved – Downhill Skiing, Speed Skating, Hockey, Biathlon, Cross-Country Skiing, Free-Style Skiing, Figure Skating, Curling, Ski-Jumping and Bobsleigh.

Each coin is 34.16g of Sterling silver, which is equal to one full troy ounce of silver per coin. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
