The Rolex Explorer has a long and storied history within the Rolex product line-up. Â The prototypes were originally worn on the first successful expedition to the top of Mount Everest in 1952. Â After this momentous event the word ‘Explorer’ was officially added to the dial.
This 2003 black dial Explorer I (Model #114270) was fully serviced by our watch-maker and includes a 1 year warranty on the movement. Â The case and bracelet were also professionally textured back to the original satin finish.Â
