The Rolex Yachtmaster has an interesting history.  Rolex wanted to update their famous Submariner line but didn’t want to risk changing it’s world famous appearance.  Instead, they created the Yachtmaster: virtually identical to a Submariner but with a bezel made out of precious metal (in this case, Platinum) and updated dial colors (deep blue for this one).
